Austin Wassink, CFP®

With a passion for helping others build a secure financial future, Austin has been in the industry since 2017, achieving his Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation in 2020. After graduating from Brock University with his Bachelor of Accounting degree, Austin wanted to pursue a career where he could help people better understand their finances. Whether it’s investment and retirement plans, proper insurance protection, or group benefit programs for businesses of all sizes, Austin has nearly 10 years of experience working with clients to ensure their plans are tailored and tax-efficient to meet their needs.
 
As a part of Impact Financial Group, Austin’s experience in the group benefit space, and his accounting background are some of his main areas of expertise. With finances and taxes being some of the main contributors to stress for most Canadians, Austin’s experience and perspective help simplify and empower his clients to feel confident in their financial decisions as they work toward their long-term goals.
 
When Austin is not at the office, he can be found on the golf course, playing hockey, or enjoying the outdoors with his wife, Meghan, and their daughter. Austin has been involved in several charitable causes and volunteer work, raising money for local charities and supporting his community within Niagara, including Wellspring Niagara and Pelham Minor Hockey.
